Dark Chocolate Banana Bites
These are maybe one of the easiest sweet snacks, but also one of the most delicious! All you need is three ingredients, dark chocolate, bananas and coconut oil. These are an especially great treat if you want something sweet (and chocolatey) , but don’t want to have a sugar rush, or a sweet filled with refined sugars.

These are a simple, quick and easy chocolately snack! All you need is 3 ingredients.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I like to use Eating Evolved Extra Dark chocolate- its lower in sugar, and minimal ingredients)
- 1 T Coconut oil
Instructions
Instructions
- Slice bananas into ~1/4. inch slices. Spread apart on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Place in the freezer for 30mins to an hour, or until they are frozen.
- Once your banana slices are frozen, melt your chocolate and coconut oil together. Add more coconut oil if need to thin the chocolate.
- Thoroughly coat/dip the bananas in the chocolate. Lay back on the parchment paper (spread out and not touching). Place back in the freezer for 5 minutes, or until the chocolate coating has hardened.
- Remove from freezer and enjoy! (I like to defrost them for about 5-10 minutes) it makes the banana a little bit softer, and easier to chew)
Notes:
Store in the freezer. Before eating them, defrosting them for 5-10 minutes makes the bananas a little bit softer and easier to eat. Also I think it makes them taste better, you get a crunch chocolate coating and a creamy inside, it's like a Dibs ice cream bite!
