Crispy Paleo Buffalo Cauliflower
About the Recipe:
This Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower is paleo, GF, super simple, and addicting!! It’s seriously so easy to make and is soooo good! I LOVE buffalo cauliflower— I just don’t love that it’s usually fried in low quality seed oils and dredged in refined flours. So naturally, I chose to make it in a healthier way, with simple, wholesome and clean ingredients.
Tips and tricks:
Cauliflower: I like to cut my cauliflower into medium/small chunks for this recipe, as it will help them to crisp up better. I will say that making larger cauliflower chunks is less work, but the choice is up to you!
Dips: A dairy free ranch dip like Kite Hill Foods would be amazing with these! Or a homemade greek yogurt dip with dill, garlic, lemon, cucumber would be so yummy too!
Paleo Flour: I used Bob’s Red Mill Paleo flour to make these, I imagine you could also substitute it with Cassava Flour (I did not try this, so I can’t say 100%). Bob’s is great because its a mix of almond, coconut and arrowroot.
Buffalo Sauce: My favorite buffalo sauce to use is Noble Made Medium. It’s spicy, but not too much heat that I can’t handle it. I’ve also used Franks and that works well too! Just be sure to read ingredients here— lots of sauces have added sugars and oils, so you want to try to avoid those.

Crispy Paleo Buffalo Cauliflower Bites
Ingredients
- 1/2 head of cauliflower (chopped into florets)
- 1/2 cup Bobs Red Mill paleo flour
- 1/2 cup Coconut milk Mylko
- 1/2 cup Noble Made Mild or Medium hot sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425F. In a mixing bowl, combine paleo flour, garlic powder, coconut milk until you have an even batter.
- Dip your cauliflower florets into your batter thoroughly and lay evenly spaced on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Once you have covered all of the florets, bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until a crust has formed and lightly browned. Remove from the oven, and lift the cauliflower gently off the parchment (they may be lightly stuck- but just pull them up gently) Toss lightly with buffalo sauce to evenly coat all the cauliflower. Place back in the oven for 5-8 minutes to crisp back up!
- Once crisped, remove from oven, let cool and enjoy!
